Hello!

I’m Esmée Jakubowski (NL 1997), a Dutch/ Polish graphic designer based in Amsterdam (NL). At this moment I’m studying Graphic Design at the Academy of the Arts Utrecht (HKU).

Having two cultural backgrounds left me curious on how various (and frequently contradictory) interpretations of reality, truth and values come to form: Trough assembling visual research and written material, I translate multiple ways of looking at an always changing perspective.

Currently I’m broadening my skills and knowledge about book- and editorial- design, in which I also put my main focus within my practice. In addition to this I enjoy exploring other (new) media such as artistic writing, photography, film and painting.
